2011 Strategy Grant Application Process

Organizations can apply for a Strategy Grant at any time throughout the year. In general, the timeframe from application to funding decision will be six to ten weeks.
To apply for a Strategy Grant, follow this process:
Step 1:
Organizations are required to discuss the ideas related to their Strategy Grant proposal prior to submitting an application. Contact the grant programs officer assigned to your sector to schedule a pre-application meeting.
Step 2:
Organizations applying in the arts and culture sector only must complete information for the Rhode Island Cultural Data Project. See Rhode Island CDP instructions.
Step 3:
Prepare your application by completing the following:

Step 4:
Submit your application. We require electronic submission of all applications. Please do not send duplicate copies by email, mail, or hand-delivery. When you submit your application, you automatically will receive an acknowledgment and a tracking number by email.
Step 5:
Applications are reviewed. Promising proposals are advanced to the next phase. This generally takes four to six weeks.
Step 6:
If your proposal is advanced to the second round, you will receive a set of additional questions regarding your proposal. Once we receive your response, we may schedule a site visit.
Step 7:
Once the Foundation has made a decision about whether or not to fund your application, you will be notified by letter. If your application is funded, the letter will provide information about expected outcomes and reporting requirements. |
