Overview of Our Grantmaking
 In 2011, the Foundation distributed $28 million to more than 1,300 community organizations. As the community foundation for the entire state, we fund a wide range of initiatives and projects, many of which are determined by the charitable interests of our donors.
Honoring Donor Intent
More than half of the grant dollars awarded by the Foundation come from designated or donor advised funds, meaning donors designate or recommend the organizations to which the funds are distributed.
