Rhode Island Community Food Bank and Andrew Schiff, chief executive officer, received The Rhode Island Foundation’s 2012 Community Service Award.

The Foundation is pleased to partner with organizations that invest in communities across Rhode Island. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we offer many grant opportunities. In particular, we focus on six key sectors: arts and culture, community development, education, environment, health, and human services. Our Initiative for Nonprofit Excellence builds the capacity of nonprofits through education and research. Plus, we manage the endowments of more than 100 nonprofits.
