The 2015 Fellows' planned activities range from volunteering as a management consultant for a nonprofit in Romania to traveling the United States and Europe meeting with top sector leaders. "Meet" the Fellows and learn more about their projects.

2015 Fellows

Thirteen nonprofit executives have been named 2015 Rhode Island Foundation Fellows as part of a leadership development program that aims to energize mid-career executives in the state’s nonprofit sector.

The 18-month program enables nonprofit executive directors to take productive, short-term sabbaticals from their organizations. Fellows design their own curriculum and participate in periodic group meetings to share their challenges, opportunities, and progress.

This has been an immensely valuable learning opportunity for me...If the goal of the Fellows program is to enhance the leadership capabilities of Rhode Island community leaders, I believe it has met its goal with me in ways I never expected.”
