Rhode Island Cultural Data Project

The Rhode Island Foundation has engaged in a partnership with the Rhode Island Cultural Data Project (Rhode Island CDP) in an effort to strengthen arts and cultural organizations in the state.

To provide the cultural community with consistent, reliable, comprehensive data, the Rhode Island CDP collects and standardizes historical financial and programmatic data for arts and cultural organizations. Participating organizations can track their own financial and programmatic performance over time and benchmark themselves against comparable organizations in specific disciplines, geographic regions, and budget sizes. Rhode Island Foundation requirement

Participation in the Rhode Island CDP is required for all Strategy Grant and Organizational Development Grant applicants in the arts and culture sector. Applicants must submit CDP Data Profiles for the two most recently completed fiscal years. A Funder Report generated from your organization’s Data Profiles will be a required application attachment for these programs.

Please note: If your organization’s primary mission is not related to arts and culture or if you are applying through a fiscal sponsor, different requirements may apply. Please contact Daniel Kertzner, senior philanthropic advisor for funding partnerships, with questions.

To enter your data, you must create an organization login. Learn more and view a flow chart of the CDP process.
