The Professional Development Grant program is designed to enable Rhode Island nonprofit leaders and staff to participate in professional development opportunities that enhance their leadership capabilities. Grants of up to $1,000 are awarded within six weeks from date of application. Please plan accordingly. Note that we cannot provide funding for activities that have already occurred.

To benefit as many organizations as possible, nonprofits can receive only one professional development grant per calendar year. Priority will be given to those who have never received a Professional Development Grant.
