
Leaders — and leading organizations — aren't born, they're built: through methods like strategic planning, staff training, board development, consultancies, etc. The Foundation is deeply committed to increasing nonprofit capacity. The strength of our communities depends heavily on the quality of nonprofit leadership and programs, and on their ability to recognize and respond to emerging needs. The Foundation places special emphasis on the identification and training of leaders from minority, new immigrant, and youth communities.
