30 Newport County nonprofits receive grants

The Rhode Island Foundation has awarded $166,666 in grants to 30 nonprofit groups serving Newport County residents.

Foundation grants enable Newport Jazz Festival to showcase “emerging” artists

The Newport Festivals Foundation will add a third day of music featuring new and emerging artists at the 60th anniversary of the historic Newport Jazz Festival thanks to $40,000 from the Rhode Island Foundation.
