Five members of the Class of 2015 are headed to college with scholarships in recognition of their dedication and contributions to public service. The Rhode Island Association of Former Legislators presented $1,500 awards to Hayley Carlisle of Jamestown, Katelyn Coyle of Pawtucket, Wila Matos of Providence, Olivia SaoBento of Warren, and Dera Silvestre of Warwick at ceremony attended by friends and family. Established in 1996, the Fund has awarded 98 scholarships totaling $129,600 over the years.
