Advocating for philanthropy

Since the Professional Advisory Council (PAC) was established in 1995, its members have been invaluable resources to the Foundation, serving as philanthropic advocates within the professional advisor communities and with their own clients.

More than 100 individuals from throughout the state – attorneys, accountants, financial planners, and insurance professionals – have lent their expertise to the Foundation during the past 20 years, and we are most grateful!

James S. Sanzi, J.D., vice president of development, says it best: "Members of the Foundation's Professional Advisory Council are trusted advisors to their charitable clients, catalysts for philanthropy in our state, and ambassadors for the Foundation. The generosity of donors combined with strong charitable planning by their professional advisors has been a successful formula for philanthropy in Rhode Island over the years and will continue to be well into the future."
