Establish a Scholarship Fund

“Education was just so important to our dad and providing a scholarship to benefit future social workers seems a fitting tribute,” says Lisa Teal of the endowment her family established, the Arthur L. Teal, Sr. Scholarship Fund. The fund is designated for the Greater Hartford Alliance of Black Social Workers for students in the University of Connecticut School of Social Work.

A scholarship fund is a wonderful way to honor your loved one, alma mater, high school, city or town, or profession.

By establishing an endowed scholarship at the Rhode Island Foundation, you guarantee perpetual funding to students according to guidelines you determine with the Foundation.
